These are the first two test shots taken with the camera, using the wide angle lens and auto settings. To me they look much better than the ones I get from the phone, but I realize that I don’t see what you do.
My monitor is going to have to be adjusted. I replaced a multiple monitor setup with a single large one and everything is blown up 250% (otherwise the print is too small to read). This is the reason I keep messing with the size of images I use on the blog. For the time being I’ll set them at the size I used for Second Life.
I’ll figure it out. I hope. So far though I have demonstrated the ability to capture an image and to transfer it to the computer. It’s like the first day in kindergarten!
I’ve also set up a Flickr account I’ll use for albums rather than putting everything I take on here. I’ll link to that once there’s something to see. 🙂
In the meantime, let me say that the tripod/camera combination is light and I know I can haul it around the island without dropping it (picture me relieved).
Now I’ll go back to reading manuals and sifting through menus.
