Taking Eccentricity to the Extreme

It’s hard to tell from this image, but Spring is springing and the weather is absolutely gorgeous.

This guy was sitting on a wire just letting the sun warm up his blood before worrying about breakfast.

I’m obsessing about flowers and gardens. I kept going outside yesterday to plan mine, even though I can’t start that project until I get the house in shape. But I really want to.

Everywhere I look I think about adding flowers.

Somehow I don’t think I’d get very far suggesting that these working barges be decorated with window boxes.

I am, however, starting to turn everything I see into a planter. At least in my mind.

I have some ideas about using sphagnum moss and soil inside a group of lobster traps to create flower baskets. That could work.

Can you imagine the reaction, though, if I started growing flowers in the various ship wrecks? That would be taking things a little too far. Maybe.

  1. Hello ,

I saw your tweet about animals and thought I will check your website. I like it!

I love pets. I have two beautiful thai cats called Tammy(female) and Yommo(male). Yommo is 1 year older than Tommy. He acts like a bigger brother for her. 🙂
I have even created an Instagram account for them ( https://www.instagram.com/tayo_home/ ) and probably soon they will have more followers than me (kinda funny).

I have subscribed to your newsletter. 🙂

Keep up the good work on your blog.

    Regards
