Change in the Wind

The wind changed direction and caused the clouds to develop new patterns. You can see it more clearly in the second image.

This change has accompanied a drop in temperature – the heat wave is now a distant memory.

My hummingbirds are gone. Mostly. The level of sugar syrup in the most popular feeder is still going down so I filled it the other night. I want to make sure any stragglers can still bulk up for their flight south.

I’ll wear extra layers to finish the painting and sanding of ceiling boards. I know you think I’m taking a long time to do it but there are a LOT of them. 🙂
