Catching Up

I finally got some time yesterday to catch up on a few chores; laundry, dishes, plugging in the heat tape, salting the driveway, etc. The cats spent the day reminding me of my priorities – at least, what they feel should be my priorities.

I’m going to make a quick (Ha!) trip upriver late this afternoon. There is another meeting scheduled in St. Stephen tomorrow morning and then I’ll be making my first trip to Grand Manan on thursday. I think.

Most of those plans have to be tentative because of the weather system moving in later today. The roads might be a little too messy to make less urgent travel an intelligent decision.

I still haven’t seen a moose. Honestly, and I know I’ve said this before, I’m convinced they’re simply a folk tale. It’s just as likely I’ll see a sasquatch first. I will keep my camera handy for whatever giant mythical beast I manage to encounter. 🙂
