Admittedly the differences between these photos are subtle. 🙂 I was enjoying the changes in light through the clouds though as I drank my morning coffee.
Most of the year you would see boats in the distance but there is no fishing at the moment. A few are still chasing scallops up the Bay I think, but lobster season doesn’t open for a few weeks.
The ocean isn’t the only thing empty right now. The Island is very quiet, almost deserted. It’s Spring Break and even some of those without children are off seeking hotter temperatures.
There are residents in Hawaii, California, Florida, Boston, the Caribbean, and other exotic destinations.
Is it a good time to travel? I make no judgments. Those left behind just hope they all stay safe and healthy.
In the meantime, seeing one other vehicle on the road is the closest we come to a traffic jam and that’s just fine with me. 🙂
