At this time of year you don’t have to get up too early to be taking photos in the dark. I was going to talk about something else today, but it’s waited a long time and a few more days won’t make any difference.
So it’s a mixed bag for this post. The first image shows you what Eastport Maine looks like in the dark if the photographer’s hands are shaking. This is the good one. The next image is far more typical of what I get when I don’t use the tripod. grin
On a slightly more serious note, they got some fish in my cove’s weir the other day. This is the good news. The bad news is that they had to work around the 8 ft shark swimming inside those nets.
The shark was carrying a radio tag and Fisheries arrived quickly to make sure that the men knew it was there. It was tough to miss.
As a last note, and a follow-up to my recent post about My Friend Debbie, I’m saddened to say that she passed away last night.
Her family and friends spent this past year making sure that she knew she was loved. My sincere condolences to all of them. I’m glad I got to know her and she will be missed.
So sorry to hear about your friend, Debbie.
I bet she felt comforted that her home was in good hands with you.
