Snow and Hormones

Real glamour shots today. πŸ™‚ These were taken quickly as I did a few chores during a short drive this morning – I need to save enough gas to get to Lubec later.

Two days ago gas there had gone “down” to $4.25 a gallon. That’s a lot cheaper than many countries (it’s over $8 in the UK) and nobody is bombing us. I’ll just thank my lucky stars and get more done in fewer trips. πŸ™‚

Ciaran is having a rough puberty, which he vocalizes almost constantly. Much of the time the litany of complaints come from behind the washing machine – which is, frankly, a little disturbing.

I’m going to order more Feliway, but that won’t arrive for weeks and I don’t know how much good it will do to combat the invasion of hormones. It’s a good thing I have a couple of small black lights to track down his spray trails. He at least has the good sense not to target the rugs or furniture.

There will be a call to the Vet this morning to get a price on his surgery. It might be a good idea to leave Fish until the summer and get my furry monster neutered now.

I’m quite sure he’ll complain about that as well. The little darling. πŸ™‚
